The shoulders have been taken in and the straps at each corner have been reinforced with a zig-zag stitch. The vest measures right at 17.5 inches from side to side, the neck width is 10 inches, and the length from shoulder to waist is 17.25 inches. The ties on the the corners are in knots that I have not tried to untie. The vest/poncho slips over the head.
