Description: Technics SU-V5 modified and upgraded. All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with Audiophile quality. The main power supply capacitors have been increased to 10,000 uF from 8200 uF. Old outdated transistors upgraded to low noise types and with better specs. The power supply diodes replaced with soft recovery types. The phono section upgraded with LM4562 op amp in place of the stock NJM4559. I've installed an IC socket in case you feel like Op Amp rolling. This amplifier uses discrete transistors as the output devices and not the chip devices as in the SU-V4. All switches and pots have been cleaned with Deoxit. The upgraded amplifier sounds amazing for it's age.
