Description: Up for sale here is this main board rebuild set for the Technics SL-1100, SL-1100A, and SL-110 turntable. This is all the capacitors and transistors you need to rebuild the main circuit board on a Technics SL-1100, SL-1100A, and SL-110. The old capacitors start getting leaky and the transistors go bad, resulting in speed issues. This will take care of 99% of the circuit-board-related issues you will see with these turntables. This kit includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors on the board, as well as 14 transistors and one zener diode. There are multiple versions of this circuit board--some with TO-66 metal transistors and others with smaller TO-92 transistors. This kit will replace all the transistors if you have the smaller TO-92 transistors, but it does not have replacements for the larger metal TO-66 transistors, which is fine, since those generally don't need replacing. Some of these boards will use slightly different capacitors, and this kit has extra capacitors to cover all the possible variants. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film caps, and one axial Supertech capacitor. Transistors are Fairchild/Onsemi, as is the zener diode. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. Please see my pictures for details.
