He recapped both driver boards before I purchased it and repaired some damaged traces. Also repaired the front four channel board, replacing leaky caps and a broken pot. Upgraded to LED lighting, aligned the tuner, and gave it the general once over. I purchased it and have used it for a couple of months while I was having my main quad system rebuilt. This Technics is very good looking with the four power meters and multi-colored dial. Super clean, as the photos show, she sounds even better. The only defect is some nicks on the corner of the case. It is real wood as shown in the photos, so it could be sanded and refinished to look better than it came from the factory. I have a 100% feedback rating and have worked hard to keep it that way for many years. I know how to pack and ship, and that is important to ensure that the equipment arrives just as it left here. If there is some problem, I'll treat you just like I would want to be treated. It is my goal to always have my feedback at 100%, so rest assured that you won't be left holding the bag. This is a vintage receiver at almost 50 years old, but with the recent repairs, there is no reason that it shouldn't go for at least another 10 to 15 without any issues at all.
