TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection: Horror (DVD) Four Films, Two Disc Set!

Description: Here we have the "Horror" edition of TCM's Greatest Classic Films Collection DVD sets. Presented by Warner Home Video via the Turner Classic Movies brand, this set includes four classic horror films on two double-sided "flipper" DVDs. The following films are included: House of Wax (1953); starring Vincent Price The Haunting (1963); acclaimed adaptation of Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House. Directed by Robert Wise. Freaks (1932); Tod Browning's still-stunning look at the world of circus sideshows. Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde (1941); starring Spencer Tracy & Ingrid Bergman. Both Freaks and The Haunting include commentary tracks. Freaks also features a short documentary about the film's history. From my personal collection. Discs and case are both in excellent condition. Slipcover exhibits some mild shelf wear consistent with its age (see pics). I have just screened all four films; they all played without issue. **PLEASE NOTE**When Warner Home Video pressed these discs for the TCM label, they recycled menu screens from earlier DVD editions of both House of Wax and Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde. The menus on those previous editions indicate the disc's flip side contains, respectively, the 1932 & 1931 versions of these two movies. The 1930s-era iterations of these films are not part of this TCM set. If you're interested in the 1931/`32 versions of House of Wax & Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde, both films are currently available separately on disc as part of the Warner Archive Collection.
