Description: This is an early Taylor, Taylor, and Hobson, of Leicester, England, lens in very good functional condition. It's a 15x12 Extra Rapid Rectilinear lens, with a 24-inch focal length. It will stop down to f90. The lens and barrel are in very good condition, but note the scratches on the lens at approximately 9 and 12. The camera shoots right through these. There is also a small area of light corrosion, identified in a photo showing the area in parentheses. Also, see the photo with an arrow pointing to a gap created by a small dent in the rear of the lens. The aperature works smoothly and is missing 2 blades from the aperture. The lens comes mounted on a standard 6x6 lens board, which fits a Kodak 2-D 8x10. This listing is for the lens and lens board only. The camera is not for sale. Feel free to ask questions.Note: This store will be on vacation for the month of December. The last day for purchases will be Saturday, November 30.Please do your shopping early to avoid the rush.
