Description: The Tamiya Super Blackfoot is the most rare of the Blackfoot family.It was introduced 3rd December 1992 and on the same month Santa Claus brought it under our Christmas tree :-)Together was delivered the Graupner package of D4 JR SSM 27 radio controller with 2 servos.The Graupner JR C507 4.8V and the Graupner JR C508 4.8V.Included is also the Graupner JR B8 SSM 27S receiver.This is an original first release truck.Since then i made some upgrades - improvements :The weak 540 engine was replaced with the Graupner SPEED 500 RACE electric motor.4 purple anodized adjustable oil shock absorbers replaced the plastic red original ones.You get the originals also as shown in the pictures.The plastic bushings in the rims and gearbox have been replaced with all metal bearings which improved and smoothened the running of the truck.I introduced carbon fiber plates on the lower end of the shock tower but also on the lower bonesof the suspension to increase durability and extent the life time.The drive shafts have been covered with rubber shaft boots to avoid dust,sand, mud e.c.t.Included is a NIMH Tamiya plug GTL 7.2V rechargeable 5300 mAh battery which supports with power the engine.4 AA NIMH batteries of 2300 mAh are in a servo pack inside the chassis to provide energy for the servos.Everything else can be seen in the pictures but if you have any questions feel free to ask,i will be glad to answer.
