The Tactical Tailor Rhino Ruck (PN TT-30019-5-MC)was developed to meet SOCOM requirements for an updated ALICE pack tailored to meet the requirements of the communicator who may be deployed across any spectrum of airborne operations. The pack is a static line and MFF jumpable ruck that has been specifically designed around the STRRLS, H-Harness, Harness Single Point Release and the Parachutist Drop Bag with rigging channels purposely cut and sewn directly into the bag. For communications, the Rhino Ruck includes a pass-through RTO zipper and the further option of attaching a removable PRC-117G go-bag. Other features include external compresion straps, a double rain fly and reinfordced hydration and commo channels. We took the original ALICE Pack frame design that has remained virtually unchanged for 50 years, combined it with our own military experience and then asked the guys in the field how they would do it, and this is the result. Our frame is built from light weight, ASTM B221 conforming aluminum tubing, giving a 30% reduction in weight compared to similar competitor's aftermarket pack frames, while increasing strength and rigidity over the issue ALICE pack frame. We know that in the field, every ounce saved counts. All rivets have been replaced with welded joints for strength - no more popped rivets - as well as eliminating sharp edges to snag gear on. The The frame is now STRILLS compatible and the redesigned crossbar bends away from the body, creating space between the pack and your back.
