Description: This is for a scalloped rim bowl from Syracuse China in their DeWitt Clinton pattern which was made for a hotel but also publicly available. These are unusual in that they have a scalloped rim instead of a smooth one--the harder to find Winthrop shape rather than Pilgrim. This Syracuse pattern features a top line of yellow enclosed in navy blue stripes. Over the yellow band are some pink flowers and red and blue accents. Below that are some pink flowers on green stems, and a yellow and blue unfurling stem of something. The main colors are a burgundy red, yellow, navy blue, and green. In the center is a bird on a branch. RWCH lists this as a "Pheasant" but some sellers are calling it a Bird of Paradise. Price is for one and there are two available.
