White, organized by the Department of Art History, University of Delaware, in cooperation with the Delaware Art Museum, Wilmington. The exhibition was held at the Delaware Art Museum in 1977 from April 15 to May 22 and at the International Center of Photography from July 7 to September 11. Includes an essay about Clarence White by his grandson, Maynard P. White, as well as an essay by Cathleen A. Branciaroli and William Innes Homer. Thirty-six black and white photographs (the self portrait on the frontispiece is listed as #111 in the back of the catalogue) of the one hundred and thirteen in the exhibit are shown in the catalogue. In the back is a chronology of Clarence White’s life, a selected bibliography of books, catalogues and unpublished materials, manuscript sources, publications with photographs by Clarence White, articles and the listing of the photographs in the exhibit. This book is in new condition and was acquired from a sale of items that had belonged to Paul Shaub who is listed as the book’s designer.
