The band is not sticky or oily. I do not suggest wearing the watch using the original band as they tend to be brittle and do break. Scratch free crystal. The gray plastic case and chrome crown have minimal signs of wear as shown in photos. Chrome crown shows no signs of wear. I installed a new battery and she ran perfectly for over a week on my desk keeping accurate time. I will ship with a new Renata battery but it will not be installed.
