The interior is in near fine condition. The pages are tight and clean. There are no marks or tears. Attached to the front left end paper is a bookpate and attached to the front right end paper is an attached envelope containing the LEC announcement #12 for the title. And the monthly letter May 1954, Number 250. The cover is in very good condition. There is fading of the spine. The slipcase is in very good condition. It shows shelf wear, and rubbing. This is a big bold beautiful book. It is 8 ½” x 11 ¼” tall and 441 pages plus a 1 page colophon. There are 32 beautiful full page color illustrations by Bernard Lamotte.
