Description: "RE5" This is a newly printed poster of the classic RE5 Rotary. The bike was an example of one of the very few Wankel engine motorcycles that were produced. Some of the others were by DKW and Norton Motorcycle Company, e.g. the Norton Interpol 2, Norton Classic, and Norton Commander. The RE5 was manufactured by the Suzuki Motor Company from 1974 and withdrawn during 1977. Rotary engines produce high power figures from relatively small displacements. All four major Japanese manufacturers had prototypes or plans. NOTE: Original artwork is part of a private collection and has been scanned and professionally restored with a sophisticated graphics program and then printed on a commercially rated machine. So you're NOT getting something that has simply been downloaded from the Internet and printed with consequent low resolution and poor detail on a cheap and nasty desktop printer!This is a GREAT poster! and most suitable for framing.
