Description: Up for your consideration is this OUTSTANDING vintage Bohemian brooch. It is made from gold washed silver, which features a large natural butterscotch amber cabochon! The design is unusual, and is reminiscent of a fireball or comet. The amber cabochon is approximately 24mm in diameter and has a high dome. The color of the amber is the very desirable old dark egg yolk. This brooch measures approximately 2 1/8" long, by 1 1/8" in diameter across the widest part of the face.This brooch is in overall EXCELLENT vintage condition! There is a chip to the amber cabochon on the backside which is not visible from the front. It is hallmarked on the back SILVER. Total weight is 12.1 grams on my digital scale.
