With impressive hand-stitched initials F C, along with cutwork and laced panels, this is undoubtedly a dowry item from quite a well-to-do family. The fabric drapes beautifully, and the colour is quite creamy. There is a small area of lightly spotted staining, pictured. Measurements are approx 200cm (around 6 1/2') wide x 268cm (around 9 3/4') long. Weighs 1.34kg (just under 3lb).
