Pendant features an abstract modernist style design with multiple linked squares with different textures and designs. Stunning and timeless. It is in exceptional condition with little to no wear. Mannequin is a life-size torso representation La Des Glanzer - Was a master Silversmith who had a boutique workshop in Minneapolis Minnesota from 1964 till 2010. Along with her husband, Duke Klassen, they worked is sterling silver, 14kt or 24kt gold, copper and semi-precious stone to create intricate jewelry pieces with geometric structures that resemble abstract architectural models . All of their jewelry was fabricated, not cast, enabling them to combine two or more metals into one piece. Every step, from design, fabrication, and finishing was done by hand. Glanzer and her husband made their careers as jewelers, traveling to juried art fairs around the country, winning awards. The Minnesota Museum of American Art owns one of Glanzer's pieces. Glanzer passed away in 2019. Their daughter, Brenna, who is also a trained silversmith and started very young in the family business, is now carrying on the family tradition.
