Description: Description This is an incredible MINI cream and gray SWIRL Creamer/Pitcher made by the late BB (Burlon) Craig (1914-2002). It has a unique shape – more A-shape vs chubby and round. It also has an ear handle and pinch spout and is marked with that famous BB Craig, Vale, NC stamp on the bottom of this great little mini. BB CRAIG RARELY makes mini’s, and don’t recall seeing gray and cream color swirl! This one is a keeper! This great piece measures approximately 3 ¼” tall x 3 ½” wide at widest part, the base. BB Craig was born in Lincoln County, NC and learned to make pottery as a teenager. When he returned from WWII he purchased the Reinhardt farm and pottery complex in Vale, NC where he started his business. His pottery is featured in several publications and in National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellowship. This super mini Creamer Pitcher is in excellent condition and is a true collector piece – would be a perfect addition to any collection!
