However, the image on the monitor will have dark corners , if a lens designed for a smaller format image sensor device (ie. 1/4") placed on a larger image sensor (ie. 1/2.5" or higher). Instructions: 1. Unplug the power and video transmission connections to camera 2. Remove the Sunshield by lifting the sides outward or sliding it out 3. Remove the Ring Cap and the Protector Glass from the camera body 4. Remove the IR Illuminator and unplug the little white connector 5. Take a few pictures of the camera’s exterior and interior for reference in case can’t recall the correct orientation 6. Remove the image processor board from the camera housing 7. Loose the small screw on lens holder and remove the lens 8. Install the new lens three quarter the way in the lens holder 9. Hold up the image processor board by the edge (Do Not Touch the electronics) 10. Reconnect the power connections to camera 11. Adjust the lens for image sharpness 12. Unplug the power connection to camera 13. Tighten the small screw on lens holder to secure the lens 14. Reinstall the image processor board back in the camera housing (refer to the picture took earlier if needed) 15. Reconnect the little white (keyed) connector on IR Illuminator 16. Reinstall the IR Illuminator back in the camera housing (refer to the picture you took earlier if neede 17. Reinstall the Ring Cap and the Protector Glass on the camera body 18.
