Description: Sunbeam Toaster - Vista, Radiant Control Model VT 40-1 Auto Drop Raise Tested/Works I tested this many times. The auto drop/raise moves slowly but smoothly. The toaster has to be on a lower setting or it will burn the bread. The bread will get slightly darker on the outside edges (see photos) but it is manageable. No dents or scratches on the outside. The interior does show signs of many years of use.
