Description: I’ve been using this preamp with my sumo power amp that I should have listed or will list soon. There is an issue with the preamp where I need to toggle the power amp on and off in order to have both channels function. Once that is done I was able to use it and it sounded great. I was using the phono input. There is cosmetic damage to the top and front face. Check the photos. I think the bypass light might not be working. I decided I needed to clear some space out and get rid of a few amps so I have sitting around. When I bought it the preamp came with brackets. Never used them and honestly not sure if they are for this preamp A friend thinks that the preamp has an issue with popping when turned on. It should be silent for the first 15 seconds but it seems it's relay is having an issue. It's also got some noise on the volume pot. The transient noises are causing the power amp's protection circuit to kill output (and it doesn't reset itself, which is why you have to cycle power to get the channel to come back on. It's cut out both channels together and independently, but for whatever reason the right side's protection circuitry seems more sensitive.
