Description: The Summa Theologica of St. Thomas Aquinas first American edition. Three hardcover volume set 1948. Note volumes one and two say “complete American edition in two volumes” and volume three says “first complete American edition in three volumes”. I could not find a year on either volume one or two. Volume 3 has the 1948 year. The reference information on the spines appears to be the same as other volume sets with three volumes. You can also see that volume three is a lot darker blue than volume one and two. All three are Benziger books. All three volumes are in excellent condition except for some discoloration on the edge of pages (mostly the bottom corner) due to storage. For all three volumes the pages are free of markings, strong bindings and sharp corners. Fast shipping.
