Sumatra lion’s maneamber is a rare type of Sumatra blue amber characterized by a deep rich honeybrown color infused with lighter contrasting caramel striations. The orangecaramel and gold colors of amber are known to stabilize stronger. This uniquespecimen of lion’s mane amber has been partially polished to bring out thenatural luster of color, while areas of the crust have been uncut and remainintact for an interesting balance of organic rough and high polish.
