The top button on the black side is missing (see picture #12); it's a fairly common button so it will be quite easy to replace if you choose to do so. There is no loose stitching or any sign of the button having been removed, so perhaps there was no button to begin with. In any case, it is what it is. The brown leather side is free of any rips, tears, holes, major stains, or odors. There is one area on the left arm where some minor staining is visible (see picture #13), so please be forewarned if this should bother you. Material - brown leather (fairly soft, supple & slightly pebbled calfskin), black wool/alpaca blend (medium softness with a short/close nap)Size & fit - size 42 in a classic relaxed fit (see pictures)Origin - made in Italy Tagged size 42.
