Description: Suarti Bali BA 925 Sterling Silver Faceted Blue Topaz/Smoky Quartz Bracelet 7.5”. This is a beautiful link bracelet that was given to me as a gift because I am a lover of Blue Topaz jewelry. It is vintage but I only wore it once a couple of times. The gem and Sterling Silver presence is large and total weight is 44.34g. The bracelet is 7.50” long with a toggle closure. The inside of the bracelet is smooth and the outside consists of 8 large bezel set gemstones. On every inch of the silver work there are beads forming decorative images and patterns symbolica of Indonesian culture. It is designer, Desak Nyoman Suarti, masterpiece. Its design is to invoke the movement of Bali dance hand movements. I am retired now and downsizing my own personal jewelry collection that has been stored in my climate controlled smoke free home. All items are authentic and were purchased from reputable retailers. Desak Nyoman Suarti (BA) is a designer, famous Bali dancer and musician, artist, and internationally known as “Bali’s queen of silver”. As a small child, her parents and grandparents began teaching her the world of art, music, and dance. Her father is a known artist and architect; her mother and grandmother are the ones that taught her music and dance. She came to New York City in a cultural exchange program as a young student and discover she had a talent in jewelry design. In 1980s she opened up a small shop in SOHO. Her exotic silver creations were a hit and after 20 years of success in the US, she returned to Bali and opened her company that employs approximately 100 craftsmen, who create ornate Silver Balinese inspired pendants, bracelets, rings, and earrings by hand, for exporting to dozens of markets around the world.
