Description: Vintage 1983 U.S. pressing from A&M Records (SP-3734). Pressed on Quiex II purple colored translucent virgin vinyl. Gatefold jacket with the original printed inner sleeve. Includes the hit song 'Mr. Roboto'. Quiex II was a pure vinyl formulation that was colored with dye, rather than the more commonly used carbon black (which has coarse granules and creates noise). Consequently, Quiex pressings are generally considered to be of better sound quality (and are sought out by many collectors). The vinyl grades VG+ (a few very light sleeve marks) The jacket grades VG (light visible ring wear; light to moderate corner tip wear; light to moderate edge wear) Also includes a 3mil. clear poly outer sleeve. I visually grade and play grade all of my unsealed records. I try to grade conservatively. Please contact me if you need any other specific information.
