Description: STURMEY ARCHER Part Number HMN-132 K-47A ~ Lock Nut ~ FX 8004? ~ NEW OLD STOCK in ORIGINAL BOX Made in England ~ Believed to be at least 50 years old! FULL BOX of 24!! Offering this as a set. The box has the part number HMN-132 typed on the original label. Someone has handwritten the notation FX 8004 on the label, and on the front of the box. I do not know what that means. This is an AUTHENTIC VINTAGE item. This has been in my family for many decades, and has been stored in a smoke-free environment for that time period. I believe this came from a Western Auto store that went out of business in the 1960s or 1970s. There are 24 identical parts in the box, and they are shown in the photos. They are gray/silver metal. The items are flat with a central hole and have a hex-shaped outer edge, as shown. For edge-to-edge of the hex at the points, they measurement is about 11/16 inch; from flat edge to flat edge, it is about 5/8 inch. The central hole is about 3/8 inch in diameter. The height is about 1/8 inch. I have taken photos overlaying a ruler, so please look at these photos as well. If you have any questions about the size, please let me know. I have taken a photo of every side of the box, in case you are a collector of old bicycle memorabilia and would like to display it. There is a small slip of paper in the box, and it appears to have been used as packing material. It has some writing on it. See last 2 photos.
