Description: This is an unusual and stunning pendant and bench bead necklace, unsigned but possibly Navajo or Zuni, based on the craftsmanship. The pendant is in the shape of an Egyptian falcon and the falcon holds ankh symbols in its claws. The falcon is composed of turquoise, apple coral and mother of pearl stones, with one barely noticeable missing turquoise stone in its neck. The pendant is large and measures 5 5/16" wide by 4.5" in height and the wings are hinged on both sides. The bench bead sections are approximately 12" in length and are attached to the wings. There isn't a signature but the back is stamped Sterling. Such a shame not to know who made this amazing pendant and necklace. Ships insured in a box from a non-smoking home. Ebay requires a signature on receipt.
