This is a wonderful example of their durable, utilitarian yet beautiful, Southwestern themed, hand painted pottery. Artist/Studio: Made in Jerome Pottery Studio, Arizona. David Hall and Jane Moore have owned and operated their Made in Jerome Pottery studio, along with their popular shop on Main Street, since 1972. They specialize in hand painted, durable, utilitarian stoneware pottery glazed a rich, speckled tan often with beautiful navy blue and earth toned American Southwestern plant, animal and landscape designs. Their unique pottery is made from native clay, dug from the slopes of Mingus Mountain. All pieces are lead free, oven proof and dishwasher safe. Condition: Very good pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or surface wear to note. The rim has a glaze miss that looks like a chip, but there is no chip or indentation at that spot.
