Design:The exquisite beauty of the vase resides in the comparison of the features of the upper and lower halves of the vase. The top half shows the effects of the use of drip glaze techniques on the upper half producing a beautiful mottled red coloration. While the bottom half is covered in the same shade of red, but, it's a clear red color without the mottled effect. Contrast between halves is impressive. The vase opening is flared with a tan rim and a 5 1/4” diameter. The inside of the vase is also covered in a red color. There are 2 small loop handles positioned on the sides of the vase. Artist signed on the bottom in script. Dimensions: Height- 9 inch. Diameter- 7 1/2 inch. Weight- 3 pounds, 14.6 ounces.
