It has a very smooth "vellum" quality finish & weight. This means that the cards are lighter weight & not as thick or rigid as ordinary "cardstock" paper. The cards are larger than those typically available: 7 1/2 inches x 5 5/8 inches - vertical or horizonal orientation The cards have a recessed, embossed central panel to highlight your artwork beautifully. You can work directly on the paper or apply a collage, photo, painting or other artwork in this ready-made "frame". The area inside the panel is 6 inches x 4 1/16 inches. The card color is white. It is a muted white, not a super bright white. The card stock has an embossed fold line. It ships flat/unfolded.
