This listing is for a MATCHED SET of TWO Dip Pens. His' and Her's? Back and forth on nib types? A beautiful matched set can be yours! This Premium Dip Pen SET is handmade and comes direct from the artist. One is about 7 1/8" and the other is about 7 1/4" long. These matched Dip Pens are hand carved on a wood lathe and is made to last with a rugged high gloss Cyanoacrylate finish. High quality materials are used throughout and include a incredible chatoyant acrylic feature section of blues, gold, silver, and purple against a black field. These are then set off with a band of Ebony and Maple a splash of purple in between. In both pens, this extends out to a slender deep rich brown wood shaft that has darker grain. Unfortunately, I do not know exactly what the species is, as it was obtained from another woodworker... however, whatever it is, it's gorgeous! This pen has a nib holder of stainless steel, so it will not rust. I have also included a popular "Blue Pumpkin" Pen Nib, suitable for both beginners and experienced artists. These inserts will accommodate most modern and traditional nibs, including Leonardt #40 "Blue Pumpkin", Zebra Nibs, Tachikawa Nibs, G-Nib, 512, 513 and other Speedball Nibs, and more. It will not fit "Crow Quill" or the larger Mitchell Elbow Nibs. The Nib I have provided, has not been prepped and a simple cleaning before use will help get the best results.
