Description: The Stoll Brewing Company Vintage Pre-Pro Porcelain Beer Bottle Stopper from Troy, N.Y. Eagle flying with a barrel of beer trade mark in center. This brewery was only in business for a short 3 years. Brewery was in business from 1875 until 1878. Ref: American Breweries II book by Dale P Van Wieren cc 1995 NY 677e page 256 K. Hutter turn of the century Pat'd. FEB 7, 1893 stopper. Excellent strong patent mark on the bottom of the knob. CONDITION Excellent condition. Color and printing is very strong. Area of the wire pass through is clean. There are no cracks or chips. Typical of all vintage molded porcelain items there are small surface imperfections, marks and chips. Review photos to assess condition and ask all questions before purchase. This stopper is from my collection, is NOT a reproduction and sold as is.
