Description: Stiletto Douglas X-3 Supersonic Jet Lindberg Line Model Kit 530 Almost Complete This is a vintage "Stiletto Douglas X-3 Supersonic Jet" plastic model by Paul Lindberg in original box that is almost completely assembled with original instruction sheet that is missing a few parts. The colorful box measures 13 1/4" x 5 1/8" x 1 1/4" and reads, " The Lindberg Line Est. Since 1933" and "Kit 530". The model is 1/4 scale. As you can see, it has been partially assembled but not completely and is missing the small nose gear front wheel and nose gear wheel cover and the inspection panel on the top. I have looked over the model and the pictures and think these three parts is all that is missing. Please review for yourself. The decals seem to be on as they should be... but again, look it over to be sure. The wing part is not put into the slots and glued down and there is some blue paint on wing by previous owner. The stand is complete with the button on it which plugs into jet bottom. The wheels are not glued on and neither is the nose tip. What you see is what you get...the original box, instructions and parts shown. Note, the instruction sheet has some moth holes but is readable. The jet will be 16.25" long when complete.
