Description: Here we have a NOS 100% OEM west German 044. This build took me 21/2 years to complete. Pretty much every part on the saw is nos and NLA. The handle, recoil, crankshaft,crankcase, old style 10mm gas tank, 10mm crankshaft…. All nos OEM. You will not find another one anywhere. The recoil and top cover are attached with m4 screws which was only the case for the very early 044s. The slant fin cylinder is a Mahle but was an early west German style. Rare collector here. Time for it to move along.
