Pendant shows no bends, cracks, or tears in the metal. Pendant is slightly magnetic when testing with a rare earth magnet. Pendant does have several surface scratches from use and wear, primarily on the back. Lid of the locket opens about 1/3 of the way, and there is a latch along the side to keep the lid closed.
