Description: Enamel and Sterling Olive Spoon This olive spoon is not marked as to its maker but it is made of sterling silver that is gold gilt on the bowl of the spoon. The olive spoon has a beautiful hand engraved monogram in the bowl of the spoon that is a little difficult to read being as fancy as it is, maybe an "M" or maybe an "AC". This olive spoon measures approximately 6 5/8" long and has a scroll or plumes design motif on the handle in silver. Then there is an enameled floral cartouche. The scrolls and design do not continue on the reverse of the spoon. The bowl of the olive spoon has a scallop edge and is pierced with flowers and foliage as well as being bright-cut engraved. This is not new but it is in very good antique condition, some polishing would not hurt. See the photos for more condition details. It is marked only with 925 over 1000 and the word "STERLING" thus indicating USA origins. Buyer does pay shipping/insurance costs and ebay sales tax if appropriate. Happy to combine shipping costs.
