Description: This is a numbered etching by the master Stefano della Bella. It is almost 375 years old! It features a horseman facing right in profile asking a young man for directions, with a dead horse to the left, a group of horseman to the left in the background. There is a number above the etching area in the middle, and in the lower left corner on the reverse. It was purchased years ago in Europe by a family member, and has been kept in a smoke free home. A similar print from this edition is in the Metropoitain Museum of New York. For complete details on their numbered etching, please see it on the Museum's official listing page at https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/410324 Condition: Although the etching itself appears to be in good condition, as shown in the picture, the edge is frazzeled and in the border there are some stain marks and foxing. Overall, for a piece of paper that is almost 375 years old, it is pretty impressive. Buyer should send payment within 2 days of purchase!©Shopperking1
