Description: Another English Import bought at a record store in Reno Nevada when I was really young and into any import album that looked interesting whether I had heard of the band or not. I had heard about this band from my best friends little brother who had a earlier album that was more blues leaning than the Mountain album. I can’t put the music on Mountain as blues, rock, or any box like those. I will just say it is original and different than any other album I own, and every song is GOOD!! This is one of my favorite albums in my collection. Definitely in the top 10 along with my Bob Dylan, Moby Grape, Jimi Hendrix, and other albums from the 60’s I will be selling soon. If you like screaming crispy guitar solos, super good drumming, and a voice from the other guitar player that is very unique, you need to add this record to your collection. Remember this album is a 53 year old album and the cover still looks the same as when it was bought but when I checked out the record I noticed 2 scuff lines on side 1. It’s hard to say how those got there knowing how over the years I was the only one who played any of my albums and usually only played them once or twice to record them and never played them again. The last time it was played there was no skips or any scratchy sounding cuts on the recording so those marks didn’t affect the sound. I expect the inner sleeves stiff paper made superficial marks that don’t affect the sound by skipping or making a scratchy noise when the stylus goes over it. I have to say that this is one of the best UK albums I own and every song on it is good and I never get tired of hearing it. If you buy the album and you aren’t satisfied you can return it for a refund or another album of similar value. Check photos for pictures of the marks. If I hadn’t noticed the scuff marks I would have priced the record at $499.00 but felt I had to discount it because of bad luck inserting the album back in it’s cover. This is a Rita’s Rare Finds album meaning that any LP listing under that name was personally purchased by me and I didn’t get it from a yard sale or from Goodwill where some of the records in my collection come from. When I bought those I would make sure the vinyl was still in pristine condition and had to pass on albums I would have bought if the album itself wasn’t horribly damaged and overplayed. I wasn’t that concerned with the cover’s condition, only how good the record sounded. I will always let you know if I bought the album new or if I got it some other way. I hate to sell this original STEAMHAMMER IMPORT but as they say you can’t take it with you when you go and I find joy just knowing that the new owner will find the pleasure from hearing it that I did!r
