The vest is designed to distribute the hardware load (arms and gimbal stabilizer) throughout the torso eliminating weight to the arms and significantly improving stability of the gimbal itself. I also have the flyer-LE arms (sold separately) Condition: This was used by me and works well. The skeleton (hard plastic) is broken at the shoulder. It was broken when I bought it and used glue and duct tape to secure it and it worked well. The padding and velcro is all in excellent condition. No rips no tears.
