Label: Vertigo – 6360 098 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, Spaceship Labels Country: UK Released: Sep-73 Condition - Vinyl Good Plus (G+) Condition - Cover Fair (F) Notes Information Inner Sleeve Hello! is the sixth studio album by the British rock band Status Quo. Released in September 1973, it was the first of four Status Quo albums to top the UK Albums Chart. Keyboard player Andy Bown and saxophonists Stewart Blandamer and Steve Farr played on "Blue Eyed Lady". This was Bown's first appearance on a Status Quo album; he guested on several subsequent releases, and became a permanent member of the line-up a few years later. Blandamer and Farr also played on "Forty Five Hundred Times", which featured piano by John Mealing. It was the first Status Quo album on which drummer John Coghlan was credited with songwriting, although Francis Rossi has said in an interview that the credit was given to Coghlan by himself and his co-writer, Bob Young, at the request of their management to even out songwriting royalty income, with Roll Over Lay Down and Softer Ride both having been in fact been written by Rossi and Young but the credit being shared or given to others Any questions feel free to contact us via ebay before listing ends We will be listing a broad range of vinyl over the forthcoming weeks across a variety of artists and music genres from punk through rock, pop, middle of the road, jazz, country, folk and classical therefore please come back and check our latest listings. GUIDE TO CONDITION We endeavour to describe condition as accurately as possible using one of the following 5 levels of grading however this should be taken as a broad guide to the items condition. NOTE please bear in mind the condition appraisal is solely based on a visual inspection i.e. not play tested. EXCELLENT - perfect condition with no audible or visible defects whatsoever. The record and cover/sleeve are exactly as brand new. VERY GOOD PLUS - one or two very minor but visible surface marks on the cover / sleeve or record surface. Audio may have slight background crackle VERY GOOD - Vinyl looks like it has experienced a lot of use. It’s still useable, but it may carry a few distortions. Light visible scratches, and it may have split edges. For the most part, a VG-rated record is undamaged. Upon closer inspection, however, its use will be apparent—both visually and audibly. GOOD - there may be a number of surface marks / scratches on vinyl causing music having distortions The cover / sleeve may also show wear. FAIR to GOOD – should play well without jumping, however the surface and / or cover / sleeve probably may show visible signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played on a regular basis. There may a few audible surface marks which may cause some minor crackles and pops. FAIR - The surface and/or cover/sleeve may show visible signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played on a regular basis. The Vinyl may crackle and pop but does not jump unless stated otherwise in the actual item description. POOR to FAIR - a vinyl of poor condition. Discs with these ratings often have major noise issues. They may skip, repeat and reveal scratching noises often. Frequently, these records may be cracked or have deep scratches. Their covers may be either badly damaged or destroyed completely.
