Description: STAR WARS #104 Luke Skywalker (1986) Copper Age Gorgeous High Grade Photo of item you will receive I purchased a 500+ mixed comic lot from an estate sale 11 years ago and started to organize my initial investment. The original owner of the comics was an older man who sold his estate in a very nice home in Naperville IL and moved to Florida. I even purchased his 2002 540i from him 11 years ago. He said he would get the comics and read them. Then he would put them away. He said nothing he owned was super rare and anything real nice at the time he kept. These were all his commons and they really were not worth anything 11 years ago. I think I paid $100 for all of them back then. The comics are a mixed lot from the 70's and end in 86. I took the entire lot to a comic book store 11 years ago and they did not want it since they specialized in new comic books or high end key dates. Plus the economy still kind of sucked in 2010 so nobody had any money. All of the comics I am selling have been sitting in a large plastic bin since I purchased the lot inside my house. I decided to go looking in my basement since comic books are hot right now and invest the hours to sell my small hoard on Ebay. I am not a comic book collector. I did read up on how to take photos and properly ship comic books. Along with boarding and bagging them. I was going to send a bunch of comics in for grading to CGS but I am already waiting on trading cards and coins to come in from grading and would rather pass the opportunity to a real collector of comics. I don't have the patients to wait 100+ days or really want to invest the $20-30 to send in the comics for grading. Nor do I have the expertise in grading them even after watching a bunch of videos on grading. My specialty is numismatic silver and gold coins and I have feedback on coins valued as high as $3500.
