Description: This is a vintage Stanley Bailey wood soled plane. It is #28; it is 18 in. long and 3 in. wide. ^ It is in good but not perfect condition; it has a few small cracks in the wood sole; but the handles are good without cracks, and THERE ARE NO CRACKS IN THE CAST IRON UPPER FRAME. ^ The plane is equipped with an original Stanley Sweetheart blade. It is sharp, but not razor sharp. ^ Proper adjustment of the throat screws and blade slot clearance are necessary for maximum performance.
