Description: This is a calendar card that would have been made in 1955 and then distributed out to Standard stations throughout America. I imagine the young men offering full service (kind of miss that service!) would have gleefully handed these cards out to customers hoping to get a quarter rather than a dime or nickel tip. This is a thin plastic card about the size of a credit card (3-1/8" x 2-1/4") so to fit easily into anyone's wallet. Would have been made in 1955 for the following year of 1956 where Americans would start to see the construction of a vast interstate highway system, hear strange music from a young man called Elvis, an American actress became a princess and a company called IMB invented a one ton computer with a hard drive, set to change the world forever. Condition is very good - only light surface scratches which are only noticeable with the reflection of light.
