Description: BOTH FILMS WERE WATCHED COMPLETELY AND PHOTOS WERE TAKEN TO REFLECT THAT. ORIGINALLY, BOTH WERE ON A SINGLE REEL, BUT THE 50 YEAR OLD SPLICE BETWEEN THE TWO FILMS BROKE AND I PUT THEM ON SEPARATE REELS RATHER THAN TRY TO SPLICE THEM MYSELF. SEE DESCRIPTION. TOTAL RUN TIME IS ABOUT 21 MINUTES. These are on seven inch reels but each takes up less than half the space. All of my photos were taken in the middle of the day as I watched the films so you can expect better contrast than I had. In addition, some of the photos are fuzzy because the shutter speed was too slow to catch the images on darker scenes. 1- BEHIND THE SCREEN at UNIVERSAL CITY- 1915- This is a pretty uncommon short that reflects the different stages of creating a movie circa 1915, including the introduction of stars of the day like Eddie Lyons, Lee Moran and Victoria Forde. Others are also included. Apparently, only this portion of the first reel currently exists. In terms of running time, this film is longer and is the top film in (PHOTO 2) 2- A TOUR OF UNIVERSAL STUDIOS- Circa 1965. As this film refers to "The Munsters" and has a scene showing Grandpa Al Lewis in makeup, it had to have been filmed between 1964 and early 1966. The film was originally in color but most of that color is washed out with the film images presenting primarily as different shades of red No odors noted.
