Description: Rebuilt genuine Lucas 6 volt SW4 windscreen wiper motor. Note that this listing is for the outright sale - no exchange unit required! This wiper motor has been fully dismantled and thoroughly cleaned, black motor casing has been blasted and repainted with 'crackle black' and the steel gearbox cover has also been blasted/repainted. The item was then lubricated, rebuilt (new carbon brushes fitted), adjusted and fully tested (including current consumption) for over an hour. Marked with Lucas part number 734523 and dated 1946. Please double check suitability but these were often fitted to the following at some point during production:- Austin 8 1946-47. Morris 8 1946-48. Standard 8 1946--48. Wolseley 8 1946--48. and probably many others.
