Description: Nice original copy of the classic Getz/Gilberto LP on Verve stereo V6-8545. This was the album that introduced the world to Astrud Gilberto and The Girl from Ipanema. The disc has some visible scuffs and light superficial marks but remarkably plays pretty near flawlessly and just beautifully. You won’t even believe how beautifully this copy plays. The music on this record is quite quiet, so it really makes a big difference to have such a clean copy. Barely any noise at all; maybe just the slightest crackle between some songs. It looks about VG but the marks are superficial and it plays so much better, truly! The cover has a badly worn upper right corner (see photos) but is otherwise quite nice with no seam splits and just a bit of ringwear and light general shelfwear. A really amazing sounding original!
