(DPO Shutters Corners Scarcity 4 1852 / 1905 Schoharie County) This cover in all likelihood, precedes the period of usage given in Helbock and may be an earliest known usage.  Sent c. 1840s, opened fairly cleanly at wax sealed backflap, some general wear & toning.
