Description: Staffordshire Royal Heraldic Jug The inscriptions commonly found with the Royal arms are two French phrases: "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" (Shamed Be He Who Thinks Evil of It), the motto of the Order of the Garter, and "Dieu et Mon Droit" (God and My Right), motto of the British monarch. The romantic pattern seen in the Additional image is found in mirror image on the opposite side. The outer border can be seen in two images, so the inner border that is a little more simple is shown in that field. Unmarked. Approx. 5"H X 6"W.
