Description: This hard to find item was made in Staffordshire England in the 1860s and has survived intact for over 160 years. It is hand painted and has gold trim and horns, and is glazed. This example has no chips, repairs, or cracks. It does have crazing, which is expected with a piece with this kind of age. There is some wear on the paint, but this is a rare find. There are other ones that are missing the lid or have repairs, etc. and many that are replicas. The base is somewhat rough also, but no chipping or cracks. This is a lovely old piece for collectors of cow creamers or Staffordshire pottery. Wonderful nostalgia like this can be displayed for all to see. 6.5" long and 3.25" wide and 5" high.
