It had an irregular tear in the upper left background running from below the "E" of "BELA" to the left of Lugosi's eye. It had extra folds above and below the right of the top horizontal fold. It had some pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Photos show the overall quality as well as any imperfections.
